Detroit Public TV responded to the learning needs of families with children at home as a result of Michigan schools being closed because of the COVID-19 crisis by curating resources from across the PBS system.

I absolutely agree with this article and I am absolutely guilty of more than one of these! Children do not come with instruction manuals. Parenting is hard! It is the hardest and most important job I have ever had. I post this article, not to make you feel like a bad parent! I post this because we all WANT to be the best we can be. When I made these “mistakes,” it was out of love! The last one especially! I always put myself last. You cannot be the best parent you can be, when you are not whole yourself!
