Community Advisory Panel

What is the Community Advisory Panel?

The Community Advisory Panel reviews the programming goals established by Detroit Public Television and WRCJ-FM, the services provided by the stations, and the significant programming policies.  The Panel then advises the management of Detroit Public Television and WRCJ-FM with whether the programming and other policies of the stations is meeting the specialized educational and cultural needs of the communities served, and may make such recommendations as it considers appropriate to meet such needs.

The advisory panel is intended to provide the public the opportunity to be heard on station programming, community service and impact on the community of major policy decisions.

The Community Advisory Panel meetings are conducted quarterly.
