National Day of Racial Healing

Tuesday, January 18, 2022, is a day to contemplate our shared values and create the blueprint together for #HowWeHeal from the effects of racism. The National Day of Racial Healing is an opportunity to bring ALL people together in their common humanity and inspire collective action to create a more just and equitable world. Since its launch in 2017, this day has been observed every year on the Tuesday following Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

This annual observance is presented by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation (WKKF), and Detroit Public Television is honored to offer this unique event to the residents of Southeast Michigan.
