National Philanthropy Day 2021: Stronger Together
Watch Sunday, November 21, 6-7:30pm ET on Detroit Public TV 56.1, also streaming on the DPTV Facebook page
The Greater Detroit Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) celebrates 30 years of its annual National Philanthropy Day event honoring volunteers, philanthropists, and fundraisers.
This year’s televised program, hosted by Stephen Henderson, takes a look back and a look ahead at philanthropy in Southeast Michigan.
A roundtable of leaders in the philanthropic community talk about how charitable giving has changed over the years. Also, members of the Michigan Opioid Partnership explain how they are working together to address the opioid crisis.
Plus, we’ll hear from this year’s AFP Detroit award recipients and learn how they are making a difference in the lives of others.
