A Time for Midtown with Judith Rodin

A Time for Midtown with Judith Rodin

Judith Rodin
Foundations and university communities in Detroit and across the country are making huge commitments to the revitalization of our core cities.  As the former president of the University of Pennsylvania and now, the head of the Rockefeller Foundation, Dr. Judith Rodin is one of the leading voices in this movement. She spoke on reinventing American cities at Wayne State University on April 28, as part of the Van Dusen Forum on Urban Issues. Detroit Public Television recorded the event and presents this half hour of highlights, introduced by Wayne State University President Dr. Jay Noren.

The Van Dusen Endowment at Wayne State University, in partnership with Detroit Public Television, presented Reinventing American Cities for the 21st Century with Judith Rodin.

Dr. Rodin is President of the Rockefeller Foundation and a leading voice in the revitalization of our core cities and will speak about the large commitments universities and foundations are making to this effort.

The discussion took place Wednesday, April 28th, 2010 at the Wayne State University, McGregor Memorial Conference Center.
