Every year people who have survived torture in their native countries leave their homes with a destination of a red brick house on Lafayette Blvd. in Detroit. Freedom House is a temporary home for survivors of persecution from around the world for seeking legal shelter in the United States and Canada. Today we meet the woman who runs this amazing demonstration of freedom and a man who gained asylum in our country. Plus we talk the pros and cons of proposals one and two. .
