The Inauguration of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States
PBS Vote 2008Jim Lehrer will anchor PBS special coverage of the inauguration of Barack Obama as President of the United States. Coverage will include excerpts of the morning events including church services and the Obama's arrival at the White House, coverage of all events at the Capitol, including the official swearing-in at noon and Barack Obama's speech. Following the address, Jim Lehrer will be joined by the NewsHour's regular analysts, Mark Shields and David Brooks and others, for reaction and commentary.
