Veterans Court and Mental Health airs May 26th at 2pm
This
film, funded by the Community Foundation of Southeast Michigan and
the Knight Foundation, focuses on the mental health challenges of veterans
returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. The documentary also focuses on the work
of Oakland County Judge Brian MacKenzie who provides veterans’ with assistance

Geoffrey Baer journeys across America to explore ten
groundbreaking works of art and engineering in 10 Buildings that Changed America
 Airing 5/16 at 9pm (repeated 5/19 at 4pm), this program tells the stories of 10 American architectural
marvels, including a state capitol building designed by Thomas Jefferson, the
original indoor shopping mall, the first airport of the Jet Age and a
futuristic concert hall. You may not be familiar with all of these buildings,
but they probably shaped the way you live, work, shop and play.

100 Years of UMS Performances in Hill Auditorium airs with a simultaneous broadcast and webcast Sunday 5/19 at 5pm
 The University of Michigan's Hill Auditorium has united
a diverse community of music enthusiasts for 100 years. Through concert
recordings, news articles, and anecdotal interviews, this documentary will
provide historical context for UMS performances in Hill Auditorium while

2007 concert. Included: "Will
You Love Me Tomorrow?" and "Fire and Rain."
 The Doors Live: The Hollywood Bowl 1968
Saturday, 5/18 from 10:30 p.m. - Midnight ET. On July 5,
1968, The Doors took to the stage of the Hollywood Bowl for a concert that has
since passed into legend. Included in this performance are "Light My
Fire", "Hello, I Love You", "Moonlight Drive" and
"The End."

 The Kings of Flint Sunday, 5/19 from 2:00 - 2:30
p.m. ET. Profiling Dora and Jacky King, martial-arts instructors who also operate
an urban farm on formerly abandoned land in long-depressed Flint,
Mich., and teach young people the basics of sustainable agriculture.
 Detropia Sunday, 5/19 from 2:30 - 4:00 p.m. ET. This point-of-view film
tells the dramatic story of Detroit and its residents who are refusing to abandon hope as they're on the brink of creating a radically new city for the postindustrial age.
 Death in Paradise
Sunday, 5/19 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. ET. In the Season 1 finale, Dwayne ends up embroiled in a murder investigation when a
piece of incriminating evidence is found at the scene of the crime.
 The Ghost Army Tuesday, 5/21 from 8:00 - 9:00
p.m. ET. The story of the 23rd Headquarters Special Troops, a top-secret World
War II Army group in Europe that used rubber tanks, sound effects and
illusions to trick and misdirect the enemy about the strength and
location of American units.
 Constitution USA Tuesday, 5/21 from 9:00 - 10:00
p.m. ET. Created Equal - An
examination of the 14th Amendment and how it's being used in the fight
for same-sex marriage, voting rights, affirmative action and immigration
reform.
