The Michigan Science Center launched The STEMinista Project, a comprehensive initiative designed to support and cultivate interest in STEM among middle school girls. As institutions like the Michigan Science Center reflect on this national conversation, it is critical that the STEM business and workforce sectors prepare to embrace and cultivate its next generation of women innovators, skilled workers and entrepreneurs.
The Michigan Science Center in partnership with Detroit Public Television and with support from ITC, is delighted to host a special conversation on the challenges, successes, and progressive strategies in gender diversification within the STEM workforce. This event features a panel of thought leaders from southeast Michigan’s leading STEM companies and a keynote from Major General Gwendolyn Bingham, Commander of the TACOM Life Cycle Management Command.
