MiWeek: Where are we today when it comes to perceptions of institutional racism?

Last Updated by DPTV on

On Saturday, June 24th, the Detroit Historical Museum’s Detroit 67: Perspectives exhibition opened to the public. To celebrate and draw awareness around this important project, Detroit Public Television’s (DPTV) local shows, MiWeek and American Black Journal, filmed on location at the museum to talk about the exhibition. Members of the Detroit Journalism Cooperative, Chastity Pratt-Dawsey and Keith Owens, were also on to talk about the issues that led to the 1967 rebellion and where the city stands with regard to these same challenges.

One Detroit - Four million people. One story.
