Saturday, January 29th host Stephen Henderson went on the road to Detroit's Downtown Boxing Gym to discuss mentorship in Detroit. More than 100 community members and thought leaders joined together to discuss the value of mentorship in developing leaders of the next generation. Featured panelists included: Leslie Andrews, Director of Community Relations and Corporate Philanthropy at Rock Ventures LLC/Quicken Loans Family of Companies; Mike Callahan, Director of Internship & Career Management Center College of Business at the University of Michigan Dearborn; Rachid Elabed, Community Engagement Manager at ACCESS; Jeannine Gant, President and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit; Jacques Panis, President of Shinola; Shaheed Saleem, CEO and Founder, Save our Children; Frank Venegas Jr., Chairman of Idea Group; and Tarence Wheeler, CEO at The Wheeler Group and Owner, TWG.
