7/31/16: American Black Journal Special: Racial Attitudes

Last Updated by Ed Moore on

Host and Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Stephen Henderson teams up with Detroit Public Television's One Detroit initiative to explore racial attitudes in Detroit and outward with an esteemed panel of thoughtful advocates and community leaders. Stephen and the panel discuss recent tragedies in St. Paul, Baton Rouge, and Dallas as well as explore hot button topics like white privilege, police and community relations, and systemic issues exacerbated by the racial attitudes we all carry but may not readily recognize. Stephen also reveals results from a new Knight Foundation funded survey about race relations in Michigan.
